Frankly unless your University doesn’t care you will, (by the second year at the latest) have it DRUMMED into you, emblazoned on your skin, meshed within your DNA that you must must and very much neeeeed some sort of experience to build your resume before you leave for the real world of 9-5 work.
Last Summer (2012) I joined the team at ChildLine as a counsellor. After an interview, intense training, and some on the job experience, I was ready to be apart of the national service that provides a lifeline-like service for children and young people.
Not my usual kinda post now is it? Usually I go for a little bit of sarcasm here and there but I express myself in a somewhat acceptable way (sorta). See we are all happy with blindly abiding to the lines that have been drawn out clearly, our mannerisms, behaviour, opinions (as much as they are our own) are very much crafted and conformist of the people and society around us.

I’ve wanted to read this novel for a very long time! It’s all over those pretty post pictures on Tumblr and there are comments underneath about how life changing this novel is. Well I finally conformed, gave in and bought ‘Looking for Alaska’ by John Green.
I have stalled so very much whilst getting around to writing this review, I honestly don’t know why. It’s either because I don’t know exactly how I feel about it or the world is exercising every possibly distraction towards me, as to stop this review. Fear not! As is said: the show must go on. And well this review must be composed and published… so here my dear reader it is.
Recently I was having a discussion with a friend, some interesting points came up and I wanted to widen the discussion to everyone here so I decided to post about it.
My Dear Reader Chums …for those of you who don’t like Miranda Hart and think you are too cool for her unique self I’m afraid this post might not be something you will enjoy with its Mirandationary (the Miranda Dictionary – keep up ey?) inspired lingo and random phrases from the legend herself like PLUNGE …nice word that… PL-UN-GE…
