The Graduate Profiles. Yep. Following on from the University Series posts which went down a treat I decided to branch out, shining the torch on students who are now graduates. It is the New Year and there is a NEW category and feature coming your way.
I just finished my English degree and I read some fantastic literature, I thought I would share some of the novels I studied. Sometimes I both hated and loved looking for the deeper meanings behind these books and the messages they painted.
After reading this article and having spent 3 years in University dealing with some of what I’m to discuss I decided to draw up a list of things you should definitely not do as a student. Not only because it makes you look like a douche, but because you are making a douche out of yourself in public.
Looking for a job after University is hard. It can really take a toll and knock you off point if you don’t keep yourself directioned.
I’m not really one of those oh look pink and fluffy, let’s go shopping, shiny shoes kind-of girl. Not that there is anything wrong with being that type of girl. It’s cool. I just get really tired shopping and I find it awkward and painful most of the times.
I just Googled 2014 A level results day and it has come to attention that this day will be a hard day for many students. For those of you who get the grades you need to get into University – well done, you freakin’ did it!
It’s crazy how our world is changing and I do believe with mediums like YouTube and the advancement of technology many people are delving into self teaching and just working their way into an industry purely on experience no fancy-smanshy degree necessary.
