The Graduate Profiles. Yep. Following on from the University Series posts which went down a treat I decided to branch out, shining the torch on students who are now graduates. It is the New Year and there is a NEW category and feature coming your way.
After reading this article and having spent 3 years in University dealing with some of what I’m to discuss I decided to draw up a list of things you should definitely not do as a student. Not only because it makes you look like a douche, but because you are making a douche out of yourself in public.
I have done a few University Series posts over the past few months and I definitely don’t want any Freshers/Newbies, graduates or anyone interested in reading them to miss out! So here is a reminder! Also if there are any University/undergraduate/ graduate type topics you would like me to provide my two-cents on, let me know.
Shakespeare wasn’t a very good-looking fella was he? I think by the time most of us have an option to study English Language and Literature most people will check whether Shakespeare is on the syllabus and go the other way or only half-hearted commit to the course praying that one will understand Shakespeare better than the times at school where nothing made sense… nothing.
I’m not really one of those oh look pink and fluffy, let’s go shopping, shiny shoes kind-of girl. Not that there is anything wrong with being that type of girl. It’s cool. I just get really tired shopping and I find it awkward and painful most of the times.
It’s crazy how our world is changing and I do believe with mediums like YouTube and the advancement of technology many people are delving into self teaching and just working their way into an industry purely on experience no fancy-smanshy degree necessary.
